Rest Before Your Work Is Done
The afternoon sun is high, and the weight of the day feels like it rests entirely on your shoulders. You are performing okayness, smiling at the work in front of you while a quiet voice inside whispers that you are only as valuable as what you produce before sunset.
But there is a rest that has nothing to do with finishing your list. The light does not wait for your labor to be complete before it shines on you.
It is already here, in the middle of the mundane, in the unfinished task. You are not a machine designed for output.
You are a vessel already filled with a worth that no amount of work can increase and no amount of idleness can decrease. The kingdom grows all by itself, whether you sleep or get up, whether you strive or sit still.
Your value is not something you earn today. It is something you carry, simply by being.
