You Will Finally Appear When You Heal
The afternoon sun is high, and the shadows are short, leaving nowhere for the old pain to hide. You have carried that weight for so long that you are afraid if you set it down, you will disappear with it.
As if the ache was the only thing holding your shape. As if your identity was carved out of the wound itself.
But the light does not need your suffering to know who you are. It knew you before the first tear fell.
It called you by name before the first betrayal taught you to flinch. There is a version of you that exists without the armor, without the bruise, without the story of what was done to you.
That version is not lost. It is waiting.
The pain was a season, not a skeleton. You are not defined by what broke you, but by the light that held you together while you were breaking.
The fear says you will vanish if you heal. The truth says you will finally appear.
