Light Flows Deeper Than Bloodlines
The afternoon sun is high, and the shadows are short, but inside you, a different kind of darkness is growing. It is the terror that your pain is not yours alone—that the very thing breaking you might be the inheritance you pass to your children.
You watch them play, and you wonder if you have already signed their sentence. You feel like a carrier of something you never asked for.
But listen. The light does not flow through bloodlines the way fear does.
There is a truth that lives deeper than biology, deeper than the genes you share. The Father's love is not a trait you might have passed on by accident; it is the ground they stand on right now.
You are not the source of their life, and you are not the guardian of their future. You are simply the one who walks beside them in this middle hour.
The light that shines in them was placed there before you ever held them, and it cannot be tainted by your illness. Your sickness is real, but it is not the final word written on their souls.
The light is already inside them, waiting for them to wake up to it, just as it waits for you.
