Stand Whole in Your Own Light
The afternoon sun is high, and the shadows are short, but inside you, the fear is long. You are holding your breath, terrified that if you finally speak the truth of who you are, the people who loved your silence will walk away.
They loved the version of you that served them, the version that made their lives easier, not the version that is real. But listen — the light that lives in you does not ask for permission to shine.
It simply is. And if speaking your truth costs you a relationship, it was never built on the ground of love, but on the foundation of your performance.
The light does not need you to shrink to keep the peace. It needs you to stand.
There is a freedom that comes only when you stop managing how others see you. The truth will not leave you empty.
It will leave you alone, perhaps. But it will leave you whole.
