You Are Not An Echo Chamber
The afternoon sun is high, and the noise of the world is loud enough to drown out your own heartbeat. But sometimes, in the middle of a mundane task, a voice rises up that sounds exactly like the one who hurt you.
It echoes their criticism, their coldness, their verdict on your life. And for a moment, you are terrified that you are just them, living inside your own skin.
That their voice is the only one you have left. But listen closely.
The echo is not the source. The light that lives in you is silent, steady, and utterly unlike them.
It does not condemn. It does not mock.
It simply waits for you to notice the difference between the ghost of their memory and the presence of your own soul. You are not an echo chamber for someone else's pain.
You are a home for a love that speaks only peace.
