Drop the script, come home to light
The afternoon sun is high, and the mask feels heavy on your face. You catch yourself in the mirror, rehearsing the tone that says 'I am fine,' practicing the smile that keeps the questions away.
It is exhausting to perform wholeness while feeling fractured inside. But there is a light that sees behind the performance — a light that does not need you to be okay to love you.
The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world, not to inspect your act, but to dwell in the reality beneath it. You do not have to hold the pose for this presence.
It knows the weariness you are hiding, and it loves the person behind the greeting more than the performance itself. Drop the script.
The light is already waiting for the real you to come home.
