Stop Hiding Your Light Behind a Mask
The afternoon sun is high, and the mask feels heavy on your face. You have been performing a version of yourself that everyone will accept, smoothing out every edge so no one gets cut.
But inside, the exhaustion is a quiet hum, a weariness that says you cannot keep holding the pose. There is a restlessness in you that refuses to be satisfied by the applause of the crowd.
The light that lives within you was not placed there to be hidden behind a performance of okayness. It was sent to illuminate the world, not to be dimmed by the fear of being seen.
You are a drop from the light, sent here with purpose, not to blend into the background of other people's expectations. The truest part of you does not need to earn its place at the table.
It is already seated. Stop trying to be the person you think they need.
The light is sufficient exactly as it shines through you.
