Rise Before You Feel Ready
The afternoon sun is bright, yet it feels like you are walking through a fog of your own making. You second-guess every turn, terrified that the voice inside you has become a stranger you can no longer trust.
There was a man who had been unable to walk for thirty-eight years, lying beside a pool while others moved around him, convinced he could not help himself. The light did not ask him to explain his failure or prove he deserved to stand.
It simply asked: do you want to get well? Then it commanded him to rise.
Your hesitation is not a sign that the light has left you. It is just the dust settling after the storm.
The same wisdom that guided you before the fall is still humming beneath the noise, waiting for you to take one small, trembling step. You do not need to see the whole road to know the next footfall is yours to take.
