Known Completely Behind The Mask
The afternoon sun is bright, but it casts shadows where the mask lives. You wonder if the people who would weep at your funeral are mourning the real you, or just the version you let them see.
The performance is exhausting, this constant editing of your soul to fit the room. But there is a truth that walks beside you in this quiet fatigue: the light within you was there before you learned to hide it.
It does not need your permission to be known. The Father sees the whole person, not just the polished surface.
You are known completely, even in the middle of the day when everyone else only sees the smile. The mask is heavy, but it is not who you are.
