Let the Light Shine Through Cracks
The afternoon sun is bright, but inside your chest, the world feels heavy and broken. You walk through the hours performing normalcy, smiling at the right moments, while carrying a weight that no one else can see.
It is exhausting to hold up the sky when your own foundation is shaking. But there is a light inside you that does not depend on your performance or your strength.
It was there before the fatigue set in, and it remains untouched by the mask you wear. The light is not asking you to fix the brokenness today.
It is simply asking you to let it shine through the cracks in your armor. You do not have to be whole to be held.
