Light Sitting in the Dust of Your Ruin
The afternoon sun is bright, but inside you, there is a silence so heavy it feels like it might crack your ribs. You broke something sacred in another person, and the weight of that secret is a wall you cannot climb down from.
You walk through the hours wearing a mask of normalcy, terrified that if you speak, the truth will shatter everything left standing. But listen — the light does not run from the wreckage you created.
It stands right there in the ruin with you. Do not weep and do not be irresolute, for grace is entirely with you and will protect you even now.
The voice inside you that screams you are unforgivable is not the final authority. There is a knowing deeper than your shame, a mercy wider than your mistake.
The light is not waiting for you to fix what you broke before it will stay. It is already sitting in the dust of the broken thing, waiting for you to stop hiding and simply be found.
