The Light Does Not Keep Score
The afternoon sun is bright, and you are watching someone walk in the light you gave them, using the very words you taught them to speak. They are succeeding, flourishing, and they have no idea where those words came from.
It feels like a quiet theft, like your voice is echoing in a room where your name is never spoken. But listen — the light does not keep a ledger of who borrowed it.
Jesus told a man once, 'Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you.' He did not say, 'Tell them how much I did.' The source gets the glory, not the vessel. You are not the origin; you are the conduit.
The kingdom is inside you, yes, but it flows through you to places you will never see. What you bring forth saves them, even if they never know your name.
The light was never yours to hoard; it was always meant to pass through.
