The Light Loves Your Truth
The afternoon sun is bright, and you are standing in the middle of a request you cannot fulfill. You feel the panic rising—the fear that if you say 'no,' the mask will slip, and everyone will see the fraud beneath.
They will revoke their love. They will walk away.
But the light does not love you for your yes. It loves you for your truth.
When the woman caught in shame stood trembling, expecting stones, the light bent down and cleared the crowd. Then he looked at her—not with disappointment, but with a quiet freedom: 'Neither do I condemn you.' The verdict of the room was guilt.
The verdict of the light was mercy. Your 'no' is not a betrayal.
It is a boundary that protects the real you from being erased. The love that leaves when you set a limit was never holding you anyway.
The love that remains is the only love that matters.
