The Light Sees The Fraud And Stays
The afternoon sun is bright, and someone just praised your work. You smiled, you said thank you, and inside you felt like a liar who got away with it.
The mask fits so well today that you are terrified someone will finally see the cracks. But the light does not need your performance to love you.
It saw the fraud you think you are before the first word of praise was spoken, and it stayed. There is a truth inside you that no compliment can build and no failure can destroy.
You do not have to maintain the illusion for the light to remain. The praise was real, but the lie is that you earned the love beneath it.
You are already held, even with the secret shame burning in your chest.
