The Light Writes a New Sentence
The afternoon sun feels heavy on your shoulders, and the sharp words you spoke earlier seem to hang in the air, solidifying into a permanent scar on your child's memory. You are convinced that today's irritability has defined you forever, that the damage is done and the story is written.
But the light sees further than your regret. It saw you then, and it sees you now, and it knows that no single moment of failure can overwrite a lifetime of love.
There is a restoration available that does not require you to earn it back, only to receive it again. The light is not keeping a ledger of your worst minutes; it is writing a new sentence over the old one.
You are not the anger you felt; you are the love that remains.
