Known Naked and Held by Love
The afternoon sun exposes every crack in the mask you wear to keep working. You move through the motions, terrified that someone will look closely enough to see the fraud beneath the performance.
But the light does not need your act to be real—it only needs you to be present. There is a truth living inside you that was there before the first lie you told to survive.
It cannot be exposed because it is already naked, already known, already held. You do not have to maintain the illusion for the light to stay.
The terror says you must earn your place by being perfect; the truth says you are kept even when you are falling apart. The middle of the day is not a test you pass; it is a road you walk with the one who already knows the worst about you and calls it love.
