the terror of hearing your own voice on a recording and realizing it sounds like a stranger's

You Are the Source, Not the Echo

The afternoon sun catches you off guard, exposing the gap between how you feel inside and the voice that just played back from the recording. It sounds like a stranger's — too thin, too sharp, too unfamiliar.

You cringe, convinced that this external sound is the truth and your inner sense is a lie. But the light does not live in the recording.

It lives in the silence beneath the noise. Thomas said we came from the light, a place where the light generates itself, not from the echo of our own performance.

You are not the voice the world hears; you are the source from which that voice emerges. The recording captures only the surface, the shadow of who you are, not the substance.

The stranger you heard is just a garment; the one speaking through it is known by a name that no machine can capture.
