The Light Does Not Fear Your Tears
The afternoon stretches out, long and loud, filled with the noise of other people's expectations. You are walking through it carrying a conversation you haven't had yet, rehearsing the words in your head because you are terrified that speaking them out loud will make you cry.
You think the tears mean you are weak, that they prove you aren't ready. But there is a light inside you that does not demand you stay dry to be whole.
It knows the weight of the unspoken thing. It knows the fear of the breaking point.
The truth you are hiding is not a flaw in your armor; it is the seed of something real waiting to be planted. You do not have to force the growth or hold back the rain.
The light is already in the middle of this with you, quiet and steady. It is not afraid of your voice shaking.
It is not afraid of your tears. The courage you need is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to speak while you are still trembling.
