The Light Sees Your Trembling Face
The afternoon stretches out, long and gray, filled with the quiet desperation of routine. You are navigating the middle of a day where the person who broke your heart is also the person you must trust with what you love most.
It feels like walking a tightrope over a canyon of old pain, trying to keep your balance while the wind blows. But listen — the light is not asking you to fix the past or even to understand it right now.
It is simply present in this ordinary, exhausting moment. There is a peace that does not depend on their apology or their change.
A peace that waits for you to stop performing okayness and just breathe. The light sees the mask you wear at the drop-off point, and it loves the trembling face behind it.
You do not have to carry tomorrow's conversation today. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
The light is sufficient for this single, difficult hour.
