The Light Sees You When No One Else Does
The afternoon stretches out, long and gray, and you find yourself rehearsing a story in your head. You polish the edges, hoping that tonight, at dinner, the words might finally make them look up from their phones.
But before the day even ends, you delete the draft. You know the ritual: the nod, the glance back at the screen, the silence that follows.
It feels like shouting into a room where no one has ears. Yet there is a seeing that happens in the quiet, unseen by anyone at the table.
You do not have to perform your pain to be known. The light does not need your audience to find you.
It sees the version of you that exists when the story is deleted.
