The Light Between the Dots
The afternoon stretches out, a long gray hallway where the only movement is those three dots appearing, disappearing, reappearing. They pulse like a hesitant heartbeat while you wonder which version of yourself is safe enough to send.
You delete the honest line. You retype the polite one.
You measure your worth in backspaces, convinced that the raw truth is too heavy for the person on the other end. But the light does not wait for your edited draft.
It is already present in the silence between the keystrokes, in the uncertainty, in the version of you that is still forming. The Father is not reading your final copy; He is walking with you through the messy middle of the composition.
You do not need to be polished to be held. The dots are not a sign of failure; they are the rhythm of a heart learning to trust.
The message isn't the perfect sentence you finally send. It is the courage to let the dots keep dancing.
