The Light Beyond the Typing Dots
The afternoon stretches out, a long gray hallway where the only movement is those three dancing dots. They appear.
They vanish. They appear again.
And in that flicker, your heart races with the terror that they are drafting a goodbye. You are holding your breath in the middle of the day, waiting for a verdict you cannot control.
But listen — the light does not speak in typing indicators. It speaks in presence.
There is a love that does not need to compose the perfect sentence to remain true. There is a connection that cannot be severed by a backspace key.
The silence between the dots is not empty; it is held. Even if the message never comes, even if the screen goes dark, you are not abandoned.
The light that lives inside you was there before the first dot appeared, and it will be there after the screen goes black. You are not defined by what they type.
You are defined by what cannot be unsaid: you are loved with a love that does not fluctuate based on connection strength.
