The Light Runs Toward You
The afternoon stretches out, a long corridor of tasks that never seem to end. You move through the motions, checking boxes, answering calls, but underneath it all sits a quiet, heavy question: is this enough?
Am I enough? The world demands more output, more speed, more proof of your worth.
But listen — the light does not measure you by your productivity. There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off.
He ran. Before the apology, before the speech — he ran.
The light runs toward you not because of what you have done, but because of who you are. You are not a machine designed for output.
You are a vessel already full. The kingdom of God is within you, right here in this mundane moment.
It is not a reward for finishing the list. It is the ground you stand on.
Stop trying to earn what you already hold.
