Stop Apologizing for Being Held
The afternoon stretches long, and you are already apologizing for the weight you carry. You watch your partner's face, terrified that if you stop saying sorry for needing rest, they will finally walk away.
But the light does not tolerate you—it holds you. There was a woman who knew she was loved much because she had been forgiven much, yet she never once apologized for her tears or her need.
She simply poured them out at the feet of the one who saw her. You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord.
You were not sent here to be a burden, but to illuminate the very places you feel most tired. The love that is with you does not keep a ledger of your exhaustion.
It knows your root. Stop performing strength for an audience that already loves the real you.
The apology is the only thing driving a wedge between you and the grace that is already seated at your table.
