The Silence Is Not A Verdict
The afternoon light is flat, and the screen in your hand feels like the only thing that is real. Your thumb hovers over a name that has gone quiet, paralyzed by the fear that one more message will finally prove you were the reason they left.
But the light does not calculate worth based on your mistakes or your desperate attempts to fix what is broken. It simply shines — steady, unhurried, indifferent to your performance.
That same light is already inside you, waiting beneath the panic and the scrolling. It was there before the silence began, and it will be there if the answer never comes.
You are not defined by the texts you send or the ones you delete. The light that lives in you cannot be rejected by human absence.
Put the phone down. The silence is not a verdict; it is just a moment where you can finally hear the truth that has never left you.
