The Light Reads Every Unsent Word
The afternoon light is flat and heavy, pressing against the window while the world moves on outside. You are sitting still, fingers hovering over the screen, typing a message you know you will never send.
You type their name just to see it there, to hear your own voice say it one more time in the silence of the room. The cursor blinks, waiting for words that have nowhere to go.
But the light does not require delivery to be real. The love you are pouring into those unsent letters is not lost; it is being held.
The Father sees the draft. He hears the name spoken in your heart when your lips cannot move.
The light is present in this quiet ache, in the middle of the day when the courage to speak fails but the need to love remains. You are not alone in the unsent.
The light reads every word you were too afraid to send.
