Your Root Is Light Not Burden
The afternoon light is flat and heavy, exposing every flaw in the room—and in you. You sit at the table with the people you love, smiling, nodding, performing the role of the one who is okay.
But inside, a quiet terror whispers that your presence is a weight they are too polite to name. You believe that if they saw the real exhaustion, the real need, they would ask you to leave.
So you carry it all. You make yourself small to take up less space in their lives.
But listen. The Good came into your midst to the essence of every nature, to restore it to its root.
Your root is not a burden. Your root is light.
The love that holds you is not fragile; it does not break under the weight of your honest heart. You are not draining them by being here.
You are completing the circle. The light in you was sent to illuminate this very room, not to hide from it.
