The Light Saw You First
The afternoon light hits the glass just wrong, and for a second, the face staring back feels like a stranger's. You keep walking because the mask is easier to wear than the truth underneath.
But the light does not need you to recognize yourself before it loves you. It saw you in the window long before you looked.
— You are known even when you feel invisible. The reflection is only a shadow; the light inside is the real you.
Go home and rest. The person in the glass is still becoming who the light says they are.
