Rest Now, The Light Remains
The afternoon hums with the noise of your performance, and you are terrified that if you stop moving, the mask will slip and everyone will see the hollow space inside. You believe your worth is the work you do, the problems you solve, the smile you force while the world spins.
But there is a light within you that does not need to earn its place. It came from the place where light generates itself, before you ever spoke a word or lifted a finger.
You are not a container waiting to be filled by other people's approval. You are a drop from that original light, sent here to illuminate, not to impress.
The people who love you are not waiting for you to prove you are real; they are already holding space for the truth you are hiding. Sit down.
Let the work wait. The light does not run on your effort, and it will not go out if you finally rest.
