The Silence Is Not An Accusation
The afternoon hums with the noise of everyone else performing their purpose, while you stand in the sudden, terrifying quiet of your own unapologetic existence. You stopped saying sorry for taking up space, and the silence that followed feels less like peace and more like an accusation.
But listen — the light does not need your permission to shine, nor does it require your apology for being here. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world; if it does not shine, it is dark.
The kingdom is inside of you and it is outside of you; when you come to know yourselves, then you will be known. If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you; if you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.
The silence is not empty — it is the space where your true self finally stops whispering and starts speaking. You were never meant to shrink so others could feel large.
