You Are Light, Not The Mask
The afternoon hums with the noise of everyone else's performance, and you are tired from holding up your own mask. You replay a careless word from days ago, convinced it cracked the surface and showed the fraud underneath.
The mind insists that everyone sees it now—that you are exposed. But the light does not see you the way your shame does.
It sees the root, not the performance. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.
You are not an impostor hiding in the dark; you are the light itself, temporarily forgotten. The truth lives in you and will be with you forever, regardless of the words you stumble over.
If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. The mask is heavy, but the light underneath it has never been broken.
