Stillness Will Not Make You Vanish
The afternoon demands motion, as if stopping means you cease to exist. You keep moving because you are terrified that stillness will make you disappear.
But there was a man who sat in the shadows for thirty-eight years, invisible to everyone passing by, until the light saw him and asked if he wanted to get well. The light did not require him to move first.
It called him out of the paralysis. You do not have to earn your place in the room by performing.
The truth is not hidden in your hustle — it is waiting for you to stop. When you finally sit still, you will not vanish.
You will be seen for the first time.
