The Light Knows Your True Face
The afternoon asks its simple, terrifying question: 'How are you?' And your mouth forms the word 'fine' before your heart has even decided if it's true. You carry the weight of the mask through the middle of the day, afraid that if you tell the truth, the whole structure will collapse.
But listen — the light does not need your performance to stay lit. It was there before you put the mask on.
There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world. You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord.
Your origin is not the lie you tell at noon. Your origin is the light itself.
The truth you are hiding is not a threat to the light — it is the very thing the light is waiting to hold. You do not have to be the one who holds it together.
The light is already inside, waiting for you to stop pretending it isn't there. Today, the mask is heavy.
But the face beneath it is known.
