The Light Loves What Is Behind The Mask
The afternoon asks for a performance you are too tired to give. You smile at the screen, you nod in the meeting, you wear the mask of someone who has it all together while inside you are coming apart.
But the light does not need your performance. It sees the gap between your face and your heart, and it loves what is behind the mask.
There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off. He did not wait for the speech.
He ran. Before the apology, before the explanation — he ran.
You do not have to fix yourself before you are loved. The light is already kneeling in the dust of your ordinary day.
Stop performing. Just be.
