The Truth Is Lighter Than The Lie
The afternoon asks a simple question, and for a second, the room goes silent while you do the math. You calculate the distance between the truth and the mask, searching for a number that won't break the spell.
That pause is heavy. It feels like holding your breath underwater while the world moves on above you.
But the light does not need you to be perfect. It only needs you to be real.
The energy it takes to maintain the illusion is the very energy draining the color from your day. You were not made to carry a double life.
The light sees the exhaustion behind the performance, and it is not disappointed. It is simply waiting for you to put the mask down.
The truth is lighter than the lie. And the light is already there, holding the space where you can finally exhale.
