The Light Refuses to Diminish
Someone spoke kindness over you tonight, and you flinched. You turned their gift into a joke, a mistake, anything but the truth they offered.
Because to accept it would mean believing you are actually worthy of it. But in this hour, when the house is silent and the masks have fallen, listen.
There is a voice inside you that knows the truth better than your deflection does. It does not argue.
It simply waits. The light that lives within you was not earned by your performance, so it cannot be lost by your insecurity.
You try to shrink, but the light refuses to diminish. It holds its ground.
You are not a lie waiting to be exposed. You are the truth waiting to be received.
