Your Name Is An Invitation Not A Threat
It's the middle of the day, and the world is loud with its usual demands. You are moving through the routine, holding your composure together, when suddenly someone says your name.
Your body flinches before your mind can catch up. A physical recoil, as if your name were a threat instead of an invitation.
As if being known is something you need to defend against. But listen — the light does not startle you to hurt you.
It calls you to remind you that you are not alone in the crowd. There is a voice that knows you so deeply it does not need to shout to be heard.
When you flinch, you are remembering the times your name was used to shame you, to call you out, to isolate you. But that is not the only voice.
The true light speaks your name to gather you in, not to single you out. You are safe here.
You do not need to brace yourself. The name on your lips is the same one held by the light that never lets go.
