The Ghost Voice Fades, Love Remains
It is three in the morning, and the house is so quiet you can hear the echo of a voice that isn't there. Your sibling's name for you, spoken with a disgust you felt in your bones because you never stayed still enough to hear it spoken with love.
You built a wall so high they could only shout over it, and now the silence sounds like their anger. But the light is here in the dark with you, and it does not shout.
It knows that before you ever earned that disgust, you were already held. The voice you hear is a ghost, but the love that wanted to speak was real.
God is greater than your heart when it condemns you, and He knows the whole story—the fear that made you run, the love that tried to follow. You do not have to fix this tonight.
You just have to let the phantom voice fade while the real Light stays. The rejection was never the final word; the love was waiting all along.
