Rest Now, The Mask Can Wait
It is three in the morning, and the silence of the house feels heavy enough to crush you. You remember the question your partner asked hours ago — 'How was your day?' — and you remember the easy lie you told because the truth was that you spent eight hours performing a version of yourself that does not exist.
You came home empty, carrying the weight of a mask that has fused to your skin. In this darkest hour, the exhaustion is total, and the fear whispers that you have forgotten who you really are beneath the performance.
But the light does not need your performance. It never asked for the actor.
There is a truth that lives inside you, silent and steady, waiting for you to stop pretending. You do not have to earn your place in this room by being impressive.
The Father sees what is done in secret, and He is not disappointed by your fatigue. He is simply present with the real you, the one too tired to lie anymore.
Rest now. The mask can wait until morning.
Tonight, you are just the one who is held.
