The Light Remains When The Scroll Stops
It is late, and the screen is the only light in the room. You are scrolling back through the days before the break, hunting for the sentence where it all went wrong.
You are certain that if you could just find that one moment, you could rewrite the ending. But the light does not live in the past you are dissecting.
In the garden, when the weight was too heavy to carry, the light fell on its face and asked for the cup to pass. It did not try to edit the timeline.
It did not search for a different door. It surrendered to the hour it was in.
You cannot change what has already been written. But the Father's love is not waiting for you to fix yesterday.
It is already here, in this quiet, holding you through the night. The scroll stops.
The light remains.
