Stop Editing Your Broken Story
It is late, and the house is quiet enough to hear the editing begin. You are cutting out the raw parts again, smoothing the edges so you don't scare anyone off.
You are terrified that if they saw the real story, they would leave. But the light does not need a polished performance.
It needs the truth. There was a man born blind, and the disciples asked who sinned to make him that way.
Jesus said neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. Your brokenness is not a disqualification.
It is the canvas. You do not have to hide the cracks to be loved.
The light sees the whole story and calls it good. Stop editing.
Let them see the mess. That is where the glory lives.
