Stop tasting the poison, dawn is coming
It is 3:42 in the morning, and you are still tracing the exact shape of their lie on your tongue. You roll it around, trying to taste the precise second it turned false, as if your mouth were a crime scene and you are the only detective left awake.
But the darkness is a poor investigator; it only knows how to accuse. There is a voice inside you that is quieter than the accusation, a light that does not need to dissect the past to know the truth of your heart.
God is greater than your heart, and He knows everything — including the part of you that hurts because you care about the truth. The lie does not define you; the grief over it does.
You are not the deception you swallowed. You are the light that recognizes the darkness for what it is.
Stop tasting the poison. The dawn is already on its way.
