The Light That Still Wants To Reach
It happened in a split second. You reached out, and you saw their eyes flicker away.
So you pulled your hand back. You told yourself you were respecting a boundary, but you felt the retreat as a betrayal of your own heart.
Now, in this deepest hour, the silence screams that you should have held on. That the distance you created was your fault.
But listen. The light does not flicker.
It does not look away when you reach. Even now, in this absolute dark, the love that lives inside you is steady.
It was there before the hesitation. It remains after the regret.
You are not defined by the hand you withdrew. You are the light that still wants to reach.
