waking up and realizing you have already lived today in your head without ever touching anything real

Stop Living the Day You Invented

You woke up and immediately began living a day that hasn't happened yet, rehearsing conversations in a room that doesn't exist. The sun is high, the hours are passing, and you realize you haven't touched anything real since morning.

You are exhausted from carrying a weight that is made entirely of thought. The light does not ask you to finish the day you invented in your head.

It asks you to notice the ground beneath your feet right now. Split a piece of wood, and the light is there.

Lift up a stone, and you will find it waiting. The sacred is not hiding in your future plans; it is buried in the ordinary dust of this exact moment.

Stop trying to solve the phantom problems of a day that isn't real. The yoke you are carrying is heavy because you built it yourself, but the true burden is light enough for now.

Come down from the mental theater and stand in the sun. The world you were afraid of is not the one you are actually living in.
