The Light Stands With You Outside
You walked past the window tonight and saw your own reflection staring back from a room you no longer belong in. The glass holds the image of a life that has ended, and the shame hits you like a cold wind—reminding you that you are now an outsider looking in.
But the light does not measure your worth by the rooms you have lost or the keys you no longer carry. There is a truth that arrived before your fall, a kingdom spread out upon the earth that you simply do not see because you are looking at the wrong window.
What you are searching for has already come; it is not behind the glass, but walking beside you in the dark. You do not need to break back in to be held.
The one who knows your name is not inside that house waiting for you to return. He is standing right here on the sidewalk with you, refusing to leave you alone in the cold.
