The Light Sees Behind Your Mask
You walk into the room and put on the face that says 'I'm fine,' even while your heart is breaking for the one you love. You smile at work, you nod in meetings, but inside you are tracking every text message, every delay, every sign of the storm.
The mask is heavy, but it does not fool the light. It sees the exhaustion behind your eyes.
It knows you are carrying a weight that was never meant for your shoulders alone. You cannot fix this.
You cannot love them enough to make them well. But you can stop condemning yourself for their choices.
If your heart condemns you today, remember this: the light is greater than your heart. It knows the whole story—the fear, the love, the desperate hope—and it does not agree with your verdict of failure.
The kingdom you are looking for is not a future rescue; it is already here, hidden in plain sight, waiting for you to stop performing and simply breathe. You are not responsible for their awakening, only for your own honesty.
