The Light Behind Your Mask
You stand with your hand on the knob, rehearsing the smile that feels like a mask made of thin ice. You know the exact second it will shatter—the moment they look past the performance and see the terror in your eyes.
But listen. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.
It does not depend on your ability to hold the expression. It was there before you practiced the face, and it will be there after the mask falls.
You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord. That is your origin, not the fear you feel right now.
The light does not ask you to be convincing. It only asks you to be real.
You are not a fraud waiting to be exposed. You are the light itself, waiting to be remembered.
