the terror of being known and still rejected

Known and Loved Without End

You have carried this fear into the dawn—the terror that if they truly saw you, they would turn away. You imagine the light exposing every broken place, and everyone walking out. But hear this: the Father's light is not a spotlight for judgment; it is the very ground where you are held.

There was a man who called his friend by name before the friend even asked for forgiveness, and the friend wept not in shame, but in the shock of being known and still loved. That same voice is in the room with you now, saying: do not be afraid.

The light does not need you to be whole before it loves you. It loves you precisely because you are not. The darkness has not overcome it.

You are not waiting to be accepted; you are already the one who is known, and known without end.
