Stop Apologizing for Your Tears
You are rehearsing the apology again. The one where you say sorry for the heaviness you carry, sorry for the space your sadness takes up in the room.
You smooth your face into something acceptable before you walk through the door. You practice the tone that says, 'I won't be a burden.' But listen — the light does not need you to shrink.
There is a place prepared for you exactly as you are, tears and all. You do not have to earn your spot at the table by pretending the weight isn't there.
The truth you are hiding is the very thing that sets you free. Stop apologizing for being human.
The light is not waiting for a performance; it is waiting for you to stop hiding.
