You Are the Lamp, Not the Dark
This is the hour when the mind invents losses that haven't happened yet. You lie awake, rehearsing the goodbye, bracing for the moment the light goes out.
But listen — the darkness has not overcome it. It cannot.
The light you are afraid of losing was never something you could hold in your hands to begin with. It is not a possession.
It is your root. Even if everything external was stripped away tonight, the thing that makes you you remains untouched.
You came from the light, and you are sent, not abandoned. The fear says you will be left in the dark.
The truth says you are the lamp.
